I think I might just make it to next Wednesday! My mantra for this week: 'I think I can, I think I can'. After many, many months of dreaming, planning, researching, and negotiating between the 6 of us, we finally take off in the wee small hours in less than 7 days!!
It's going to be interesting to sit back a bit and watch the reactions of our travel companions to the sights and sounds of Asia, because, although they are all well travelled, mainly in Western countries, they've never been to Vietnam or Cambodia.
So, the plan is Hanoi, overnight on Halong Bay, Hoi An, Saigon, and Dalat in Vietnam, then on to Siem Reap in Cambodia before returning home just short of 3 weeks later.
Hopefully I'll be able to add a bit from each stop.

You guys are almost locals in this area after your 2 or 3 trips.... Sounds wonderful would love to check it out myself one-day!
